Various instrumentation techniques are required during scaling and root planing (SRP) in periodontal treatment, where dental hygienists in general practitioners play an essential role.
Correct information gathering technique by diagnostic instrumentation is also critical.In this presentation, I will show what I have learned about SRP in the past and current cases of periodontal patients that I have been treating. I will talk about my approach to complex cases which should be treated with a comprehensive perspective and instruments that can be used for each different part of the oral cavity. -

The global pandemic caused by COVID-19 has brought to light the differences in people's views on health. Now that many people's interests have shifted towards improving health, our job is to hone our skills and make patients realize that good oral health obtained through proper periodontal treatment will significantly improve the quality of life. We must take an approach that encourages patients to become aware of self-medication (managing their health), and dental hygienists play a critical role in all of this. In this lecture, I will introduce and discuss periodontal treatment using cases.
