  • Points of View in Defective Dentitions-Leading Partial Denture Prosthodontics to Success-

How to restore, maintain, and stabilize the masticatory unit in the proper position is a major point in prosthodontic treatment for missing teeth. How to make it three-dimensional with both the visible parts of color, form, and continuity and the invisible parts of the force applied after integrating into as the dentition? We would like to discuss the intraoral work represented by mouth preparation and the steps taken by dental technicians to model the teeth.

  • The Key to a Successful Suction Denture
-Special Tray Production Focusing on Severe Resorbed Mandibular Edentulous Cases-

When fabricating a complete mandibular denture that adsorbs, the most critical step is to make an appropriate custom tray from the research model obtained from the initial impression. This step determines the success or failure of adsorption. The reason and specific examples from simple cases to highly resorbed ridge cases will be presented.
