At the 4th Quality Management Survey conducted by Nihon Keizai Shimbun Inc. and Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers, GC was ranked 8th in the overall ranking. In the subcategory rankings, GC was ranked 5th for Commitment of Executives and Product Development, 6th for Education for Quality, 7th for Customer Care and Quality Assurance. GC was ranked 18th in the 2nd Survey in 2005 and 14th in the 3rd Survey in 2007 and this shows the company is steadily improving its quality management level.
The first place went to FUJI FILM HOLDINGS CORPORATION, 2nd to SHARP CORPORATION, 3rd to TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION.
